Amazon has pulled the Nintendo 3DS off its digital shelves, it has emerged. The company is no longer selling the device, and would not comment as to a reason why.
It simply put the following message on its website:
"While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!) We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."
Internet reports seem to suggest that the way the company was shipping the product was causing it to be damaged. There is no estimate as to when it will be on sale again.
No other retailer has pulled the 3DS from sale so far.
