Apple is set to unveil the new version of its mobile operating system – iOS 5 – at a developer’s conference next week, and will also reveal details about its planned iCloud service.
There will be no iPhone 5 news, however.
Exactly what Apple plans to do with its iCloud service remains a mystery, but it’s been known for a while now that Apple wants to establish itself in the Cloud game in a big way. It should be interesting to see what Steve Jobs will have to say about both these new technologies, and where they will be applied.
There will also be some discussion about Mac OS Lion.
