The Nintendo 3DS doesn't exactly have an extensive catalogue of games, and yesterday it lost yet another potential title that would have sold consoles and pleased fans.
It has been revealed that the planned Assassin's Creed title for the 3DS has been canned.
Ubisoft said that the plot that was supposed to power that game has been absorbed into the new console game, Revelation.
Instead of simply changing the story, it seems that Ubisoft is going to abandon the project altogether.
Although no official announcement regarding a cancellation has been made, it doesn't seem as if the series will make it onto the 3DS anytime soon.
It might be that disappointing sales of Nintendo's new console has put off the developers, who believe more money can be made on home consoles.
