Blizzard To Use In-Game Advertising

Blizzard is apparently looking into using in-game advertising in its next MMO, Titan. A job ad posted by the company says that the company is looking for someone to ""work with major consumer brands to facilitate product placement and licensing within the world of Blizzard Entertainment's next-gen MMO that enhances the gameplay experience." In-game advertising has always been a bit of a contentious issue, and Blizzard have not officially confirmed that they will be making use of it. Some observers have questioned whether the new MMO will be free-to-play, with profits generated mainly from ad revenues.
