Dev Tools Incoming For Skyrim

Bethesda plans to release a toolkit for Skyrim within the next few weeks, which will help budding developers build their own mods and levels for the popular RPG.

"Beginning in January, PC players will be able to download for free the same development tools we used at Bethesda Game Studios to create Skyrim," the dev said recently.

"In tandem with the Creation Kit's release, we will roll out a new Wiki and videos to help you get started."

This is certainly good news for fans of the game, who have in the past built some very impressive mods for Bethesda’s games, especially Skyrim’s predecessor, Oblivion.
