Epic Games is apparently very impressed with the Wii U, and is looking forward to making games for the console.
"We haven't made an official announcement about that platform," a studio bigwig said to IndustryGamers recently. "And while we loved the Wii, it just wasn't a fit to make a game that would go across Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii. It just wasn't possible. So going forward, we're working with those folks and we're very interested in the Wii U."
Does that mean that games like Gears of War might appear on the platform? The studio has hinted about the fact that it is looking to expand that IP into other areas.
Interesting times indeed.
