Rumours are flying that a prequel trilogy to the Gears Of War series is currently in development. Gears Of War 3 recently marked the end of the first trilogy, but Epic has hinted that more games are on the horizon.
The proposed titles will apparently not be developed by Epic, but by one of its subsidiaries, People Can fly. That studio was responsible for Bulletstorm, which was released earlier this year to mixed reviews and mediocre sales.
Epic has not commented on the rumours, and aren’t expected to anytime soon.
