Mega Man Creator Sorry For Game Cancellation

Keiji Inafune, the co-created of Mega Man, has apologised for the recent cancellation of Mega Man for the 3Ds. Inafune left Capcom last year, and since his departure both Mega Man games that had been in development have been canceled.

"The decision for the cancellation was out of my sphere," he said of the situation. "But as someone who took part in the development, I'd like to convey something to the staff: I'm sorry that I couldn't be of assistance."

Capcom has said that it wants to continue on with the franchise, but has been vague as to how exactly it will do that.
