Metal Gear Solid 1 HD Remake In The Works
HD remakes are all the rage these days. Recent news that Metal Gear Solid One might get an HD remake has sent fans into a frenzy, and though news has been encouraging, it doesn´t seem as if we´ll be getting our hands on the game anytime soon.
HD remakes are all the rage these days. Recent news that Metal Gear Solid One might get an HD remake has sent fans into a frenzy, and though news has been encouraging, it doesn't seem as if we'll be getting our hands on the game anytime soon.
"If we were going to do Metal Gear Solid 1 we'd want to take more time with it," a creative producer at Kojima Productions said. "Not just up-res the textures, not just make things look pretty and polished, but go back and tweak some of the gameplay, tweak the story to update things and do it properly. Not just a re-master but a re-imagining almost. We do want to do that sometime down the road but it will take more time. It's not something we're looking at doing right now."
Let's just hope they get working on this – and soon!
