Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Out In March

The long awaited and often delayed release date of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater for the 3DS has finally been confirmed. According to Nintendo, the game will be available on 8 March, 2012.

Originally intended for a 2011 launch, the title has suffered several delays. Nintendo had been hoping that the game’s release would boost 3DS sales for the holiday season this year, but that idea is now officially dead.

Analysts blame the lack of big-name games for the woes of the 3DS, which has underperformed since its launch earlier this year.
