Minecraft Hits 10 Million User Mark

Popular indie game Minecraft has officially passed the 10 million user mark. The game has actually sold 2.6 million units, so not every registered user has translated into a sale.

Still, it's an incredible achievement for a game that has a development team small enough to fit in a decent-sized cupboard.

Minecraft will appear on the Xbox 360 later this year, which will greatly increase its potential user pool.

The Xbox 360 version will featured optimised controls for the game.
