New Alan Wake To Be A Short Adventure

Alan Wake: American Nightmare, the follow-up to the popular horror adventure Alan Wake, will reportedly be quite a short adventure. Casual gamers will be able to finish it in under four hours. “The story mode is, it's kind of hard to put a time on it, but I'm guessing for the average player, [it's] something between four and five hours, maybe a little bit more depending how much you explore the optional story content," the developer said. Given that it’s due to be an XBLA release, this seems quite reasonable. A lot of AAA games these days can be clocked in that time, so five hours is actually kind of nice for an XBLA title.
