A few days ago there was a rumour that a new Fatal Frame game was in development for the PS3. The rumour started when a list of games “in development” was unearthed by some internet sleuths.

However, today a Tecmo Koei spokesperson ruined all the excitement by flat-out denying the rumour.

"There is no truth to this," the spokesperson said. "Looking at the titles on that list it looks pretty out of date."

A new Fatal Frame was announced for the Wii some time ago, but alas it seems that the game will not be making an appearance on any other consoles.
