Nintendo has announced that it will not reveal how much the Wii U is going to cost until 2012. Speculation has varied from anywhere between $250 and $500, but Nintendo is not tipping its hand quite yet.
The company says that until development on the console is complete, it cannot name a price.
"Since the Wii U we showed you at the E3 show in June was still in the development phase without very specific proposals on the software titles, we are going to announce the release date and the price next year when we are able to explain the specific proposals," the company's president said.
The console will likely hit stores towards the end of 2012.
