Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Delayed

The latest incarnation of the popular Resident Evil series, Operation Raccoon City, has been delayed. The game was originally scheduled for release sometime this year, but Capcom has announced that it will miss that deadline.

Capcom is also working on another Resident Evil game – Resident Evil 6 – and there have been some rumours that the development of that game has taken top priority at the company, leading to less attention being paid to Operation Raccoon City.

An exact release date has not been confirmed, but Q1 2012 seems to be a good bet.
