Resistance 3 Beta Announced

Insomniac Games has announced that its upcoming shooter, Resistance 3, will undergo public beta testing next month. This testing applies only to the multiplayer aspect of the game, however.

Resistance 3 is one of the year's most hotly anticipated games, and is due out later this year.

It's currently slated for a September release date, which would give it a bit of a head-start over its competitors, likely Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.

Along with the Killzone series, Resistance has been one of the flagship franchises for the PlayStation 3.
