Sony boss Howard Stringer insists that the image of the company is improving every day.
Stringer has been under fire for months due to his handling of the PSN breach, but he has remained steadfast in his assertion that Sony is doing just fine. In fact, he says things are better than ever.
"Our brand perception, you'll be happy to know, is clearly improving again,” he said recently. "My foremost responsibility to the board and all of you is to further advance the transformation process, firmly establish Sony's position as a global product, content and service leader in the networked digital era and ensure our continued development and growth.”
The PSN outage cost Sony about $150 million, and there are still dozens of pending lawsuits against the company because of the breach.
