Sony has brushed aside criticism that the 3D features of its games are going unused, and are essentially unwanted. The publisher has said that 3D gaming is slowly growing, and that it will continue including 3D elements to its titles.
"It's certainly not a concern for us on the game side, the major reason being it's not like when we're adding 3D features to a game, it's not a significant overhead for us," Sony said of the situation. "It's not like we have to justify being able to sell millions more games because of it, it's just another feature of the game."
While Sony has wholeheartedly embraced 3D gaming, companies like Microsoft have held back on the technology, at least for now.
