Sony Proud Of…3DS Sales?

 

Sony has said that it has been encouraged by strong 3DS sales of late. Of course, Sony's own handheld, the Vita, has sold rather poorly so far, but the company seems to believe there is room for another handheld device on the market, and points to strong 3DS sales as evidence of that. "One of the encouraging things about 3DS' sales performance at Christmas is that it is confounding the naysayers who say that there is no room in the market for a dedicated handheld gaming device," Sony said of the matter. "And to that extent we were encouraged by how 3DS did over the last month." We get what they're saying…kind of. But shouldn't they be focusing on their own sales, instead of Nintendo's?
