Trouble publisher THQ is cutting 170 staff members, it has been revealed. The company, which was recently given a deadline for raising its stock price or face delisting, is cutting the staff in order to restructure the firm. "This is probably going to break in the morning, I have sat on it for a week or so," one consultant with knowledge of the situation said. "The culling at THQ was 170+ souls…A smart journalist would send THQ's VP of Tech Mark DeLoura an email and see what the auto reply says." THQ has faced dire financial difficulties following a series of high-profile market flops.
