Okay, so we’ve kind of learned that less is better when it comes to Sonic games, right? Even the publisher has admitted that there is too much Sonic out there, recently pulling most of the old games off shelves in order to protect the “image of the franchise.”
But that lesson seems to have been forgotten quickly, as reports yesterday surfaced that two new Sonic games are in development.
One of those will be a follow-up to Sonic and the Black Knight, which appeared on the Wii in 2009. The third game will likely also be for the Wii, though there is no confirmation at this point.
The other game is a new Sega Superstars title.
There are no release dates for either game at this point.
