In the biggest "who cares?" news story of the day, Apple has confirmed that its white iPhone 4 will finally go on sale tomorrow. That's nearly a year after the iPhone 4's official launch.
"The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it's beautiful," CVG quotes Apple spokesman Philip Schiller as saying. "We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we've worked to get every detail right."
He didn't explain, however, why it took the company a year to slap a white cover on a phone they had already designed and was in worldwide production.
More relevantly, it has also been reported that the iPad 2 will hit Japanese shelves within the next weeks. The gadget's release had been put off because of the Japanese earthquake disaster.
