Nintendo president Satoru Iwata yesterday assured investors that the Wii U will launch with a wide range of available titles. Unlike the launch of the 3DS – which featured only a handful of games – the Wii U will be well taken care of in the software department.
This was in response to fears that the Wii U would sell as poorly as the 3DS has following its launch – something which has been blamed almost exclusively on the lack of titles.
EA has already announced that it will have games ready for when the Wii U launches next year, and it seems that Nintendo believes the same is true of many other studios as well.
