iPhone 5 Delayed
Are you the kind of person who always, always gets the newest iPhone the second it becomes available? Well, then we’ve got some bad news. According to several internet reports – specifically a story on Business Insider – the iPhone 5 has had its release date pushed back by almost a year.
Apple generally likes to release a new phone every year – which would mean that a new iPhone was theoretically intended to hit stores in June – but analysts now predict that the next gadget will only hit stores in early 2012.
However, there might be a silver lining in this dark cloud. Persistent rumours also claim that a cheap, low-spec iPhone is in the works. That might account for the delay in itself.
