DICE, the developer behind the Battlefield series, says it wants the next generations of consoles to be super fast.
"We need lots and lots of processing power," one exec said of the situation. "The more you can cram into a machine, we'll take advantage of that."
Currently Microsoft and Sony are sticking to their story that they will not release new consoles until at least 2014.
Most analysts, however, expect new consoles next year.
